Phil & Roxy are a husband and wife duo who call themselves Phoxy Music. Their warm harmonies are featured in a vast catalogue of music including original compositions and songs from the 1960’s on up. They have recorded in Nashville with renowned musicians and producer Mark Mosely.

Roxy ‘s background stems from gospel music.  She was a regular on a TV show as a child, sang in the church and traveled internationally with a gospel music band for many years.  Some of the stages she has played on include the Grand Ole Opry and The Havelock Jamboree. She has also performed as a regular and as a guest on TV shows such as 100 Huntley Street, George Hamilton Show IV, Living Truth & more. Phil has his roots in gospel music as well. He learned to play guitar from his father who sang regularly in church. He is a multi-instrumentalist and has some acting credits. Phil’s influences include Blues, Rock & Roll, Jazz, Reggae and classic R&B. He has performed with a long list of bands in the Toronto area and has performed at the International Blues Competition in Memphis, Tennessee. He currently also plays with the “Raggedy Andys”.

When Phil & Roxy met the air was charged with electricity , especially with music.  Since then they have written songs together. Their CD of original music, Pick of the Vine, is a warm mix of R&B, and folk. This CD features their song, Cool Breeze, and the song Fun which has received Canadian Radio Airplay.

The Duo expanded in 2023 to include another family member, Paula Walker Carrano and her husband Pat.  Steve McGann , bass player for Phoxy Music is added to the mix and now they are Phoxy Music & The Pham.
